Social Democracy: An Alternate History is a historical interactive fiction and narrative strategy game. Play as the Social Democratic Party of Germany in 1928 and guide the party through elections, parliamentary politics, economic crisis, and political violence in an alternate-history attempt to stop the NSDAP from taking power. Content warning: this game references antisemitism, nazism, period-typical racism, misogyny, homophobia, obsolete terms for gender/sexual minorities, and political violence.
